
My Story
Jesse Hislop is a writer, musician, family man, and a wellness advocate. He is passionate about challenging the Status Quo and about improving the quality of his life and the lives of others. Born in 1976 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Jesse displayed a keen interest in languages, stories, and music at a young age and played the violin, saxophone, bagpipes, and the guitar throughout his formative years, though in recent years he focuses solely on the violin. Jesse also expressed a keen interest in foreign languages and cultures and in 1993 and 1994 he went to Japan as an exchange student and pursued the study of Japanese Language which has always been a passion of his. Jesse is a devoted practitioner of Mindfulness Meditation and of musical studies. He resides with his wife, Sonoko and daughter, Sasha in Calgary, Alberta and works as an Automotive Sales Professional.
